Small Pleasures is a story about forbidden love, set in the English countryside in the 1950s. For this deck, the goal was to transmit a sense of cinematic sheen, allowing potential producers to envision the project on the big screen. Balancing modern images with the contemporary photography of the 1950s and 60s proved to be the biggest challenge with this pitch deck; however, it was important to root the story in its time period, while allowing the modern typography and layout to bring us back to the present.
